Chateau Rousseau: Monbazillac

Producer: Chateau Rousseau
 Geography: Dordogne
France
 ABV: 12.5%
 Format: 0,75l
 Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
Description:A golden yellow, sweet dessert wine that is rich and powerful. The palate has flavours of honey, acacia flowers, peach and candied citrus. Can be kept for up to 10 years from  production. Great as an aperitif or goes well with foie gras, white meat dishes, cheeses and chocolate or cream based desserts. This sweet and vibrant dessert wine is a good value alternative to Sauternes. Made in a similar method to the wines of its near-neighbour in Bordeaux, this wine is a little lighter in style. That said, it’s still brimming with sweet fruit and has a lovely rich texture.
