It was during our last trip to New Zealand back in 2024 that the folks at NZ Hops ltd introduced us to Dr. Ron, which was definitely a ‘meet your hero’ moment. Ron has been utterly devoted to the NZ hop breeding programme and is responsible for varietals such as Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Riwaka, Nectaron and Superdelic. The guy is a legend, and to have him and NZ Hops collaborating on Tiny Science, an amazing IPA that sings out New Zealand, was huge for us! Expect huge and pungent flavours ranging from white wine and limes through to dank pineapples and odd yet comforting hedgerow herbs.
