Mekhong

Mekhong is Thailand’s national spirit, a 35% ABV (Alcohol by Volume) spirit named after the Mekhong River. Created in 1941, it is made from molasses and rice, then blended with a secret mix of native Thai herbs and spices to create its unique flavour profile of toffee, spice, and citrus. Though it has a similar profile to a flavoured rum, it is versatile and can be enjoyed neat, with a mixer, or in cocktails.
