Kernel - East India Pale Ale - London 1897 9G Cask

We made this wonderful historic recipe for the first time last year, but this 2026 version has somehow surpassed our delight from the 2025 iteration. This year it’s hopped with Ernest, has a medium bitterness, but with a richer malt body than expected from a modern, or even Burton, IPA. The cask version currently pouring in our taproom is particularly delicious, with a softness that balances the slightly boozy notes.
