Domaine Mont Saint Gilbert Julienas - Beaujolais Nouveau

Domaine Mont Saint Gilbert Julienas is cooking up something juicy this year—perfectly perched vines, hands-on harvesting, and a winemaking recipe that gives structure and fun. We don’t have the vintage’s exact notes yet, but expect ruby sparkle, red fruit punches, a dash of spice, and that ‘must-cheer’ Beaujolais bounce. Get ready to fall in love one glass at a time.

Domaine Mont Saint Gilbert

Nestled in the hills of Julienas (altitude ~230-430 metres), Domaine Mont Saint Gilbert works Gamay grapes from richly sun-kissed slopes that stretch over several communes. Their vines benefit from excellent exposure and they harvest by hand, sorting carefully in the vineyard. The winemaking is traditional: cold pre-fermentation maceration in stainless steel, then warm fermentation, with a cuvaison of 2-3 weeks. After that, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for about 8-10 months, all to build structure while preserving that bright, playful fruitiness Beaujolais is known for.
