Light-bodied, fresh, with a crisp edge of acidity. There is a citrus component (lemon, maybe lime or grapefruit) that balances any sweetness. A touch of bitterness (floral white flower bitterness) also comes through, especially on the finish. The bubbles are fine and delicate, giving a gentle sparkle rather than aggressive pop. The sweetness is low or moderate (“demi-sec”), but not cloying; usually perceived as balanced.

Clean, refreshing, with lingering floral and citrus notes. Sweetness is subtle, more perceived in mid-palate; finish tends to emphasize fresh flowers, citrus peel, a crisp finish with maybe a touch of saline or minerality.

The Pet Nat is made from 100% Muscat Petits Grains, a grape well-known for its floral intensity and aromatic qualities. The soils are clay and marl, with the influence of the mountainous terrain (cool nights, sun during the day) of the Drôme / Diois area.
