Kernel - Bitter, WET HOP 9G Cask

Making a wet hop beer is a time-focused endeavour. We aim to get the hops from the vine and into the beer within 24 hours so our brewers work closely with the hop growers. We don’t get to ‘plan’ this beer into our brewing schedule, when it’s time to harvest the hops, it’s time to brew the beer!

When done successfully, we’re able to elicit completely different characteristics from the hops than usual.
These green/fresh/wet hops, are full of fresh & floral flavours not found in dried hops.
Tasting it straight from the tank we get fresh, bold, chlorophyll and unsurprisingly ‘green’ flavours.

With a light, bitter style base beer, the fresh hops have a clean platform to shine.
